Pronounced mee-shee-beez-shew, it is a mixed media piece on wood panel, comprised of drywall compound, acrylic paint, copper leaf, and liver of sulphur.

This artwork is the first of an ongoing series exploring iconic elements that represent the north shore of Lake Superior, in ancient times and present day.
